Objectives |

|
- To establish, promote, subsidise, encourage, provide, maintain, organize, undertake, manage, build, construct, equip, develop, operate and to run in India or abroad centers, academies, schools, colleges, gurukuls or franchises to promote, develop and popularize education of students as general public utility in/through different States of Indian Union.
- To take up programmes for spreading general education to the public in general and in particular to economically weaker sections of India, such as adult education, Science, education either sponsored by central, state or local governments, public Bodies, Voluntary Organization or decided by the society of its own accord.
- To collaborate with other institutes, societies, organizations, state, national and international in the pursuit of all or any of the above object.
- To act as an apex body controlling the organizations, Institutions, Companies, Firms (Regd. Or Unregd.) Associations, Societies, Trust, Person(s) rendering ethical and professional consultancy services on overseas education to students in India or abroad.
- To develop prescribe strict and ethical guidelines or “Principals of Good Practice” that governs the actions of consultants in their relationship with students and families and foreign education providers. To see that all members follow the “Principles of Good Practice” and the stipulations prescribed by the laws foreign education of the institute / university and foreign country and to take action against any member for its breach.
- To admit or remove members, protect their rights, provide continuing updates from all the overseas educational institutions/Associations or update all recent changes in Govt. policy on education or visa regulations to all its members.
- To provide ethical and professional consultancy service to students and advice to parents and education institutes abroad. To see that students get complete unbiased non commercial information on all matters related to their education abroad .
- To Advice, provide information on govt. policy on education of all foreign universities or visa regulations of countries to all its members. To give documentation, provide welfare measures, legal assistance to protect its members.
- To render all assistance to its members for securing accommodation and travel abroad.
- To advice parents, educational institutes, to act in liaison between the foreign Universities and the Indian Education Consultants (members), to issue news letter or bring out a Journal or a News paper on the Overseas Education.
- To curb unethical practices in rendering consultancy services to students. To promote and guard the reputation of members against:
- unauthorized companies and individuals advertising and posing as so called education consultants
- those consultants that mislead and cheat students with false and tricky information and not follow “Principles of Good Practice” and ethical standards
- To ensure that all its members scrupulously follow all the immigration law and the legal formalities of the foreign Institutes/Universities and Foreign country and the principles of good practice & principles prescribed by the society time to time
- To conduct seminars, conferences, exhibitions to promote overseas education. To present information to the government and to general public on the benefits of overseas education and the procedures involved with it.
- To advice parents, education institutes and to act in liaison between the Foreign Universities and Members, to issue Newsletters or bring out a Journal or a Newspaper on the overseas education and its related issues.
- To coordinate with the services of all advisors involved in promoting overseas education.
- To represent the grievances of its members, support every member of the Association, before any overseas University/Institution or any Department of the Foreign Country.
- To Promote and strengthen business cooperation among members by encouraging student referrals within members.
- To institute yearly awards to facilitate best performing members.
- To enhance cross-cultural understanding by providing a platform for discussion to all organizations involved in the industry.
- To cooperate and liaise with all government and all official parties concerned, set good standards of services to consultants in promotion of foreign(overseas) education opportunities for Indians citizens.
- To provide a forum of authorized education agents, institutes and other Agencies to discuss exchange ideas and information on study opportunities in a foreign country etc.
- To raise revenue through, membership fees, subscription, donations. To receive grants, aid or assistance from all sources including Governments or Universities/Institutes. To organize any types of funds raising programs and administers these funds, in accordance with its bye-laws for its benefit or to achieve its objects. To accept endowments, bequeaths from any person or Institutions for its utilization for fulfillment of the aims & objects of the society.
- To establish and administer educational & other Institutions to import education.
- To develop scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of equity and reform among students and to strict to excellence in all sphere of their individual and collective activity.
- To establish and conduct residential facilities for stay of the pupils of the institutions run by “FEDERATION OF FOREIGN EDUCATION CONSULTANTS IN INDIA”.
- To do all that is necessary, conducive, incidental or ancillary to the attainment of the objectives including the right to acquire, receive and hold property of any kind, to enter into contract in connection with the purposes of the Society to raise monies and funds in such manner as may be deemed fit for and on behalf of the Society, and to employ staff.
- To strive for the up liftment of all socially, economically and educationally weaker sections of the society.
- To acquire and dispose off properties for the benefit of the society.
- INCOME CLAUSE
All the income, earnings and property, both movable and immovable, of the Society, howsoever derived, shall be applied solely for the promotion of the objectives thereof as set forth in this Memorandum of Association. No portion of the income and property of the Society shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly, by way of dividends, bonus or otherwise by way of profit, to persons who at any time are or have been members of the Society or to any one or more of them provided that nothing herein contained shall prevent the payment in good faith of reasonable remuneration, honoraria, perquisites, out of pocket expenses, interest on money lent to the Society or reasonable and proper rent on premises lent to the Society , facilities of any nature whatsoever to any member, office bearer or any one else as the Governing Body thinks fit in return for any services rendered to the Society . No member of the Society shall have any lien on any moveable or immovable property of the Society or to make any profit whatsoever by virtue of his membership.
