Indian Youth Murdered in Australia (05 Jan 2010)
The Federation of Foreign Education Consultants in India (FFECI) condemns the attack on 21 year old Indian youth in Melbourne which resulted in his death. These are serious crimes and needs to be checked by the Australian authorities. We request the Australian government to take serious action on the culprits and punish them severely.

Australia is still a safe place to live, work or study. Australia has a multicultural society and Indians have been a part of this society from years. However this incident particularly has a mystery and the Australian police should complete its investigations and come out with the facts.

There is no doubt that Australian has one of the best education systems in the world. Australia has some of the best ranked universities in the world. Many brilliant young people from India are studying in Australian Universities. However these sorts of incidents will create a fear among students wanting to study in Australia. The numbers for students wanting to study in Australia has drastically fallen in the past 3 months due to various factors.
